EXIT INTERVIEWS
- Exit Interview (REQUIRED): All students are required to participate in an individual exit interview with the instructor in the two-week period after the conclusion of the in person assessment. August 20th-September 3rd
PRE-COURSE MATERIAL
- CWA Online Learning modules (REQUIRED): All students are required to complete the CWA Online Learning modules prior to the program start date (CWA Foundations, WAH Level 1). You can expect a time commitment of approximately 1-3 hours to complete all modules. Once booking is complete, you will be registered in the CWA hub where you can complete the online content.
WORK AT HEIGHT 1 CERTIFICATION
The CWA WAH Level 1 Course is a supervisor training course for current, proficient and active routesetters and climbing wall workers who are currently working in a climbing wall facility that wish to gain the CWA WAH Certification.
This course teaches many topics such as:
- Professionalism
- Risk management
- Work at Height activities
Once certified, a WAH Level 1 Technician can execute the duties and responsibilities as described below:
- Conduct work at height tasks
- Assist in rescue activities as directed
- Identify and avoid hazards
- Follow the guidance of more experienced WAH workers
